Ik geef toe dat ik toch wat fier ben op de commentaren die ik tijdens het edit proces van 'The Pencil' kreeg:
First of all, I’d like to congratulate you on successfully creating a solid ensemble that’s sure to pique the curiosity and interest of fiction lovers everywhere. The flow of the story is just amazing. I haven’t read anything that is as compelling and as electrifying as what you have put together here. It’s apparent that you have a very excellent command of the language; the way you played and mixed the words were striking. I can tell that you poured your heart out on this piece, and I commend you for that! I haven’t been this entertained in a long time. Many people attempt to be a writer, but only few have the courage and discipline to pursue it.
As I said, I think it's a wonderful story. While reading, I got more and more the urge to start drawing myself! So I wish you good luck with it and love to hear how it goes. Hopefully, in the future it will be available in many different languages.
I thought your way of compiling your book and the extensive, descriptive manner of your subjects, where and how they lived (!)- was very, very good. Well done!
